What the week holds, and a tired doggie

The Girl brought Teddy home with her for a couple of days.  She was selling her old car to Scout, and buying herself a new one - a 2017 Subaru Forrester.  She also brought home her "summer gift" from her employer - a cooler full of seafood to grill.  She is living large in Houston - I don't hear a lot from her anymore about how much she hates it.  Pretty soon, she will move into her first "all by herself" apartment with Teddy.  Good things come to those who study and work hard for what they want.  We are proud of you, Girlie!
Teddy made himself comfy and pretended he couldn't hear us telling him to get up and get in his own bed...even the doggie is sick of the heat.
This week begins marching band evening rehearsals, which are every bit as brutal as morning rehearsals. {The blacktop has absorbed all the heat and sun from the 100+ degree days we are having.  I'm surprised Bubbie's tennis shoe soles aren't melted.}  End of summer Band swim party is Monday night, I'm on call Monday and Tuesday, letter jacket fittings are Wednesday, Hubby travels to San Antonio, and the band "show off" for the Fall marching performance is Friday.  This week I also want to buy a shredder and whip the house files into shape.  And it would be great if we could go ahead and get Bubbie's driver's license done, since now he has a car to drive, too!
What does your week look like?
